Dandelion Folklore

Folklore says the dandelion:

  • is also known as the "Shepard's Clock" because its flower opens at 5 am and shuts at 8 pm

  • is also known as the "Child's Clock" because, legend has it that, however many breaths it takes you to blow all the seeds from the dandelion is the number of the current hour

  • is truly a good barometer, if the dandelion is open expect sun for the next while, if it is closed go find your raincoat
